OUR VISION
To create a center where many become stronger as one through worship, the Word of God, and witness, leading to great works.
OUR MISSION
1. We are a church committed to the Great Commandment. (Mt. 22:36)
2. We are focused on fulfilling the Great Commission. (Mt. 28:19)
3. We equip people to serve one Lord, one Spirit, as one body. (ICor.12:12-13)
4. We emphasize the Great Commitment to impact, influence, and impart God's grace and mercy to a lost and dying world. (Acts 1:8)
OUR MOTTO
One Lord, One Spirit, One Body (I Cor. 12:12-13)
BRIEF HISTORY
My Friend's House was founded in 1971 through aggressive evangelism efforts, Pastor Jim and Yolie Ortiz reached out to young people and needy individuals and families with the Gospel of Jesus. A congregation was formed and we soon named ourselves “My Friend’s House,” because we discovered in Christ Jesus “a friend that sticks closer than a brother” (Prov. 18:24). Over the years My Friend's House had remained active in the community and in Kingdom building activities. In 2008 Hope of Glory Fellowship partnered with My Friend's House and in 2009 The Storehouse Christian Fellowship also became a part of the congregation. In 2010 all three churches decided to merge with one another forming My New Friend's House. In 2010 Pastor Jim Ortiz celebrated 40 years of ministry and many friends and ministry partners attended the three day celebration. It will be a blessing to see how God will continue to use Pastor Jim in this church as well as other future partners for the Glory of God.
